Reduce Injuries and Workers Compensation Costs
Full body Physiotherapist musculoskeletal assessments are able to identify pre-existing injuries that can compromise a worker’s safety and negatively affect job performance.
For example, a potential employee/worker may have previously injured their knee (e.g. skiing, dirt biking, car accident) and subsequently affected the normal functioning and stability of that joint. If untreated, climbing ladders, walking over uneven surfaces and repeated kneeling/squatting/crouching could exacerbate the pain and symptoms.
A full body physiotherapist assessment is able to discover pre-existing injuries, and determine whether the injury increases the chance of a workplace incident or re-injury to the previously compromised body part. This assessment is based on the physical demands of the job they are applying for. If at the time of the assessment a medical condition is identified that prevents the worker from going to work, SureHire will educate the worker on the steps that need to be completed prior to re-testing.
